September update – kids church
Well, where has September gone!?!
We’ve enjoyed meeting again for kids church in God’s garden throughout September. It’s been great to see faces we’ve not seen for a while and new faces too. We hope you are all made to feel welcome.
Now the weather may begin to change the plan for October onwards is that we return to kids church in the lounge at the back of church. We are limited on space so we ask that if your child is at school then you leave them with us and parents stay in the main church service.
If your child is under 4 then please come with them into the lounge but please can we request that only one parent stays in the lounge.
We will continue to offer packaged juice and biscuits as snack at the end of the service after we have shared in the main service what we’ve been doing.
We are excited to be back and are planning some key dates for your diaries…..
Sun 10th Oct – 10am School Harvest service
Sat 30th Oct – Messy church 10am – 12noon- LIGHT (crafts, story and lunch)
Sun 31st Oct – 10am LIGHT party and hotdogs
Sun 14th Nov – Remembrance Sunday 10am War heroes hunt (weather permitting)
Sat 18th December 10am Messy church – Christmas (crafts, story and lunch)
Sun 19th December -10am Christmas party with Father Christmas and Jacob’s Join lunch
Fri 24th December – 4pm Crib Service
Also, we are pleased to let you know Tot’s Praise has returned. Every Friday term time 9.30am for parents/Carers and preschool children.
